Post Production
What makes it happen behind the scenes ?
Import and Download

We make sure to import and prepare raw materials into secure hard drives as soon as possible to ensure a secure transfer. The data loading process in media production cost time due to the amount of dense material that has to be processed into drives. This requires sufficient CPU, GPU, and storage performance on our end to supply the demand for Commercial Video Productions.
Sequencing

This is where we "relive the moment". We carefully look through all of the footage that we captured on set and begin picking apart only the best sequences to use in the commercial. Scouting through footage in post is a big reason why we conserve how long the camera stays on. Our editors have to carefully pick apart all the most important seconds in post out of all the footage captured on set.
Precise cuts and Transitions

This is where we get precisely in between the seconds and make sure that all of the cuts are in rhythm and fine tuned. The last thing anyone wants are transitions that obstruct from the overall feeling of the work being done. There is a lot of video playback in this process because timing is crucial when it comes to working with detailed commercials and we have to critically sync our visual sight with our ears.
After Effects Compostions

After Effects is one of the most powerful entry level VFX software on the market for video compositing. This is a place where our editors spend a good amount of time implementing artificial elements into the overall work. This includes text templates, overlay trajectory, scaling, masking, and much more using parameter key frames.
Colorgrading

In order to save on set memory and achieve better results in the post production process we almost always capture footage in neutral color. We must add all of the color quantities and parameters in post, scene by scene, using our very own perspective to ensure the best video aesthetic. The color grading process is where the magic happens when it comes to bringing the scene to life. Our editors take a significant amount of time adjusting parameters to achieve the best color aesthetic based on our vision.
Audio intergration

This is where the Video and Sound department collaborate to weave sound and video into a single body of work. The video, sound, and all of its stems ( layers ) are sent back and forth between the sound engineer and the video engineer to ensure that the video comes equipped with the best sound experience.
The sounds we provide are mixed in house to ensure control over the emotions of the video. Sound is how the commercial "talks'' to others making it a key component in setting the mood.
Positioning and Rescaling

Thanks to the resolution of DSLR cameras we are able to scale our work with less distortion in quality. Our video producers are able to re scale and position motion picture to the proper size of the platform it is intended to be on. (T.V, Tablet, computers, phones.) Including social media scaling parameters.
Export

We make sure that the client is equipped with the proper files for their intended use of the video. Based on the platform, we send the proper file sizes to cooperate with the intended platform. We use dropbox to send small commercials projects over the internet. For large projects we prefer to present the work and deliver the final project in person. The video rendering process is a challenge that every cinema production studio must face because of the significant time it may take to encode the final MP4 render.
